Ramps 1.4 fix
I am trying to replace the original motherboard for my Davinci 2.0 with a Ramps 1.4 set up. I did a lot of research on installing Ramps to my Davinci, but I did make one mistake and I am trying to figure out if I need to buy a new Arduino Mega 2560, shield, and stepper drivers, or if there is a way to check to see if those parts are in good working order. Long story short, I went off of old instructions and I flipped the power and signal wires when I was wiring up the board for my optical endstops. The Arduino became very hot and I could not move my axis motors. I turned off the power supply and after doing some more research I found out that Ramps 1.4 made a change as to where the power and signal wires need to be connected. Replacing the entire Ramps board is not expensive, but I don't want to replace parts that are working well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
