Da Vinci 1.0 New firmware 1.2.6 Need help on Drowngrade
#1
Hi everyone,
I am a noob, and I just got my Da vinci 1.0 Version 1.2.6 from Newegg.
My desktop software is version 1.1.34.7

I need help to downgrade the version/firmware to 1.1.XX, whatever version that I can use the catridge resetter.

I searched online and found instruction for hardware downgrade, but everything I read were for Version 1.2.3.
Will the hardware downgrade method for 1.2.3 works on 1.2.6 also? Anyone try this yet?
Thankyou.

Any luck on downgrading the 1.2.6 firmware yet? I tried but my printer keeps saying that the update failed.

What method did you try? and after "update failed", can you still able to use the printer with the original software and fillaments?

Just finished downgrading from 1.2.6 to 1.1.J

Used the same guide provided in the readme file of the DAVINCI_1_0_RESET.zip download in there download section.

I just finished downgrade mine to 1.1.J, very easy. But, now I need to find a way to calibrate my head bed. It is way off! I tried the calibrate, but got ERR ERR ERR.
Update later.

Try the Android app available on Amazon. It makes calibration a doddle. ;-)

Hello;
I haven't use the app yet, but still able to calibrated the bed after 2 hours. But now there is another problem. In the calibration, I got 35,35,35 and successful and Save; but the Z ax is short off about 0.5mm, When starting to print, the Extruder is about 0.5mm above the glass bed, which suppose to close and almost touching the glass. Anyone know how to adjust the Z ax?

Once you've passed the auto calibration, it's best to adjust the bed height manually with a piece of paper or a feeler gauge.
Here's a good guide on this .... http://www.soliforum.com/topic/8408/bed-...beginners/
