Lights Flicker on 0.92 firmware
#1
My lights flicker some using the 0.92 firmware. I've not used older firmware, so not sure if it does that previoulsy. It seems to flicker when the bed or extruder is heating.

Have others seen this?

I didn't have this problem with the stock 1.1.J firmware from XYZ.

Yes has been reported on previous FW (0.91 based) (https://github.com/luc-github/Repetier-F...t-65968454) seems happen only on 1.0 as my 2.0 does not have this issue
and no clue where issue come from as I cannot reproduce

how do you reproduce this flickering on your 2.0 ?
right now I never saw when printing neither doing bed leveling function neither using extruder....
function is pretty simple, just write HIGH to pin 85
#define TOGGLE(pin) WRITE(pin,!READ(pin))
#define LOW 0
#define HIGH 1
#define CASE_LIGHTS_PIN 85

I suspect some issue in variant.cpp, as I already had to modify the 85 definition as it was shared with top sensor pin
{ PIOB, PIO_PB11A_UOTGID, ID_PIOB, PIO_PERIPH_A, PIO_DEFAULT, PIN_ATTR_DIGITAL,NO_ADC, NO_ADC, NOT_ON_PWM, NOT_ON_TIMER }, // ID
// { PIOB, PIO_PB11A_UOTGID|PIO_PB10A_UOTGVBOF, ID_PIOB, PIO_PERIPH_A, PIO_DEFAULT, PIN_ATTR_DIGITAL,NO_ADC, NO_ADC, NOT_ON_PWM, NOT_ON_TIMER }, // ID - VBOF

So i would not be surprised if another issue come from there, but I cannot reproduce it on my printer, so it is just a guess
if anyone can give me a way to reproduce the flickering I may be able to fix, if no,t anyone finding a solution is welcome, I will add it for sure

This is normal, the original firmware lights also flash but much more slowly (all 5 to 10 sec)
The extruder and the bed cause small voltage drops
On repetier extruder operates in PWM which cause this rapid flickering
