I just replaced the 3 bed leveling thumb nuts with 3mm wing nuts.
They were a bit fiddly to fit but once on, the wings provide a visual gauge making it easier to judge the amount of adjustment when leveling the bed.
Not sure if it was just a coincidence but after running the first calibration after fitting the wing nuts, I managed to get my first Z offset of 250 !
Before then, the best I had managed was 260.
