New Rattle on Diagononal... Lubricate?
#1
Hi All,

My 1.0 has developed a really loud rattle when moving in the diagonal. It's fine with outlines, but diagonal fill makes it rattle like it's about to fall apart.

It's coming from the print head area and seems to be coming from the x-axis.

Has anyone else had this? Should I be lubricating? With what?

Thanks!

C.

Try different infill ratio, it's doing that because of the honeycomb shaped infill, also try different speed setting, mine sounds sometimes like a sewing machine. Lubrication is always a good thing to do, see various posts. I use a synthetic brake lubricant that is safe on plastic made by Permatex No./UPC 22063, here in Canada.
