to test Main Controller board.
Would like to know if board is bad and possibly whats wrong.

Can do Arduino IDE, Python or whatever
different SD card

Huh

What problems you have right now? Any error code?

On Power up
Beep Beep Beep ...... light flashes

Beeper on mobo.

0031 code on LCD

Error 0031 is Y-Axis motor or sensor failed. Double check all the connections are connected correctly and not loose.

All wires intact
all limit sensors intact

Guy from xyz printing watched video of it
Said probably a bad main board --- but he was unsure -- and couldn't tell me if I could buy replacement

Tried this python code
https://github.com/jasongao/DaVinci1.0/b...davinci.py

Get error
File "C:\Python27\DaVinci\DaVinci1.0-master\DaVinci1.0-master\print-to-davinci.py", line 4, in
port=sys.argv[1],
IndexError: list index out of range

Just want to test main board some how
before
I rip it out and install a RAMPS1.4
WHY?
RAMPS open source --- I have one---- well supported
I can run Marlin or Repetier firmware
I can do a second extruder

Unlike DaVinci crap board --- unknown --- unsupported --- XYZ printing clueless

Do you have power on 12V? is your Stepper motor moving or White LED light working?
If you have video of your printer.. can you share the link?
Also Can you take a photo of
(1) your motherboard on power side when turn on? Check R3 like this post.
(2) all 4 Y-axis bearing holder inside your printer. like this post
(3) check the hot-end power cable.
If your motherboard can run and show show code error. Most of the stuff is fixable. Show us some photos so we can help you.
My used printer come with 0030 error code and 0031 error code ... I have to fix few things on it to get it up an running. ( Bearing holder & 12V power R3 fuse)
So check these before you change the motherboard.

12V, 5v, 3.3v at mobo connector
X-motor moves, White LED Flashes

Your problem seems just X end-stop senor or Y stepper motor related issue.
Base on the problem..
(1) Check X axis end stop sensor . try to trigger it during the start-up see if the x stepper motor will stop.
if x axis end stop sensor is working
(2) is the drive belt on Y stepper motor has right tension? Is the Bearing holder cracked?
(3) check Y stepper motor , are they powered? is it stepping correctly? are they moving.

I guess you can't attach multiple photos???

Look at

I hope that works!

Is there a pin out on endstop opto switches?
Got to put 3 v on LED and read the photodiode and I interupt it?

It seems that X goes into stop and then backs out a little.
Y -- If I jam the Y axis in the stop it seems to also back out a bit
but
Beep Beep Beep light flash?

What is the "Right" tension on the belt?
I think I would notice belt slipping

X axis motor moves Y and Z have not yet moved on their own

So normal is X and Y axis move to stops and wait for further commands?
Should Z come up to stop?

Basically I think this mobo doesn't like me -- she gets replaced!!!

If both your motor are working, all belt's tension are okay. Maybe it is the end-stop sensor.
On Da Vinci there are 4 end-stop sensors. all of them are the same. You can try to swap them for testing. The one for upper cover sensing you can use it as spare to swap up other one for testing. You can trace the 3xblue wire cable to find them.

Another thought .. you can just install repetier firmware and test then one by one... you can see the end stop status through LCD or repetier host with right command!
Right now with Da Vinci's stock firmware you can't do anything untill all the wires are pluging correctly.

Check the connector on the stepper motor -- on one of my xyz printers, it was loose (got the same error) -- just power off, push the white connector back in and try again. They tied the wire too tight and the connector popped out just enough to fail the self-test.

Base on the photo Left_Y_sliders_1468 seems the belt is not fixed on the Y-axis left Carriage .
You should fix the broken Y-Carriage 's belt folder first. If the belt is not fixed on the slider the stepper motor can't move X-axis correctly.

You' re right ---- belt clip broken off

Made up a couple of aluminum clamps

Still

My DaVinci now working

Swapped top sensor and y sensor

Calibration really screwey?

Is there a "GOOD" calibration / leveling procedure out there somewhere?

Hi, i have the same Problem like Steven, i´m using a Davinci AIO Secong Generation ( Blue Mainboard). I bought it on Ebay, it has Repetir and the Preowner had Error 0030. There is no Light in my Printer and the Steppers are not Moving. I think they´re not getting any Voltage.

I allready Checked the Bearings and also the R3 ( not Easy to Find), there is only 0,48 Volts.

Question: there are 4 Wires going to each Stepper, in my Mind: 2 Wires for Voltage and 2 Wires for Signal, i mean 1 for Stepper Down and 1 for Stepper UP. Am i Right?

Sorry for my English, but its not my First Language.
