Custom firmware development
I get the heater decoupled error. When I manually increase the extruder temperature it quickly heats up but gradually starts to decrease at around 140C. I'm going to try heating the bed first and some other things

well looks like the decouple test is working

any idea why temperature heat then cool down ? you may need to disable decouple test to do figure out why temperature is going down

Okay, could it be my wires to my my mk9? It's a 12v 40 watt heater, I'm using the davinci heating wires to a lever nut to the mk9 heater wires.

well if it is heating properly at the begining it may means that when heating some wire touch because of dilatation and then give wrong info to sensor
you may use repetier host temperatures curves and see the behavior of the heater activity vs the temperature detected

Thanks luc. I was checking out my thermistor wires and one was loose. I'm going to take it apart and put in the 35w heater and fix the thermistor and see what happens

you need to do M502/M500 from repetier or load fail-safe from printer, if not it read value from EEPROM instead
